Position Summary

Our Sales Rep will be an integral member of and have a key role in the overall success of our sales team. This role is responsible for the proactive management of the buy-sell cycle (prospect, plan, sell and service) with retail accounts in the Greater Chicago area with an emphasis on increasing Sales and Service. This will include sales and business development in the following market segments: sports dealers including run specialty, hockey, etc., non-sport dealers including department stores, industrial accounts and other related specialties, and other accounts as assigned. This person will also be responsible for brand performance at select National and/or Multi-Region Accounts with locations in the territory. Regional and occasional national travel is required.

  • Understands the nuances of managing a territory that is a very influential strategic market

Your responsibilities

  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, assortments, forecasts and scenario plans
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with customers
  • Provide account feedback to Sales and Product management staff
  • Leverage market and account knowledge to maximize Superfeet product placement and sales
  • Ensure inventory levels are aligned to sell through, margin and turn objectives
  • Mentor other Sales Reps regarding best practices for managing accounts
